Octelle
Octelle is a contemporary take on Art Deco, designed in collaboration with Laura Hammett Interiors and handcrafted in our Birmingham factory. Every line and surface has been carefully considered for how it looks, as well as how it feels in the hand.
Drawing on Samuel Heath’s historical archives, the design process involved extensive prototyping to refine visual balance, proportion and tactility. The result is a contemporary collection with distinctive stepped forms and chamfered edges.
The culmination of 15 years of collaboration between Samuel Heath and Laura Hammett Interiors, Octelle reflects the precision and thoughtfulness that have defined our craftsmanship for over 200 years. Each piece undergoes numerous checks and refinements to ensure it is as enduring as it is beautiful.

Art Deco proportions, with a contemporary profile
Inspired by the geometric forms and vintage glamour of the 1920s, Octelle reinterprets Art Deco detailing in a way that feels relevant today.
Carefully balanced proportions, architectural lines and subtle transitions between surfaces give each piece a sculptural quality, creating a dialogue between material and form.

Developed exclusively for the Octelle collection, Vintage Bronze is a rich, deep bronze finish created through artisan-applied electroplating of multiple metal layers. Each piece is then hand-burnished around the chamfered edges to reveal the brass beneath. The result is a subtly individual finish with a warm, lived-in quality.
