Birmingham has been the heart of the UK’s metalworking industry since the 16th century. Founded in 1820 amid hundreds of brass foundries, Samuel Heath began as a family-run business crafting homeware, from bedsteads to fireside accessories. Through industrial upheaval and various challenges, we resisted the tide of mass production, choosing to stay true to our heritage.

Grade II Listed factory

The Samuel Heath brass foundry and offices have stood proudly on Leopold Street in Digbeth, Birmingham, since our founding. The building retains much of its original Jacobean architecture and Renaissance detailing, standing as a testament to more than 200 years of historical craftsmanship.
